This website is operated by Beauty & Bloom (a social enterprise project of the IHC North Canterbury Association). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Beauty & Bloom.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

3. Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Information

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, or more timely sources of information.

4. Products & Handmade Disclaimer

Beauty & Bloom products are hand-crafted. Because our products are hand-poured by our team in small batches, please be aware that:

  • Variations: There may be slight variations in color, texture, or scent between batches. This is a mark of authenticity, not a defect.

  • Availability: Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

5. Safety & Medical Disclaimer

Our products (including Magnesium Oil, Room Sprays, and Body Oils) are designed for cosmetic and home fragrance use only.

  • Not Medical Advice: Content on this site is not intended to substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Patch Testing: We recommend patch-testing all skin products on a small area before full use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

  • Safety: Please keep products out of reach of children and pets. Follow all storage instructions listed on the product packaging.

6. Pricing and Payment

Prices for our products are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and does not include GST (Goods and Services Tax) unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Please review our Shipping Policy for specific details on delivery times and rural charges.

  • Risk of Loss: All items purchased from Beauty & Bloom are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier (NZ Post/Courier).

  • Address Accuracy: You are responsible for providing a correct and safe delivery address. We are not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

8. Returns and Refunds (Consumer Guarantees Act)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

  • Faulty Goods: If a product is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from the description, we will repair, replace, or refund it.

  • Change of Mind: As we sell personal care items, we generally do not offer refunds for "change of mind" once a product has been opened or used, for hygiene reasons. Please contact us at hello@beautybloomproducts.com to discuss any issues.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Beauty & Bloom shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
